Ceremonial grade matcha is the highest quality, made from the youngest tea leaves with the stems and veins removed. Culinary grade is intended for cooking and has a stronger, slightly more bitter flavour.
Sift 1–2 teaspoons of matcha into a bowl, add a small amount of hot (not boiling) water around 70–80°C, then whisk in a zig-zag motion until frothy. Top with more hot water or steamed milk.
Orders within New Zealand are typically delivered within 2–4 business days. Rural deliveries may take an additional 1–2 days.
